Inis Meáin Knitting Company was founded on the island of the same name in 1976 by Tarlach de Blácam and Áine Ní Chonghaile, inspired by the unique spirit, environment and heritage of the place. Hand loomed in the manner of the Emerald Isle, Inis Meain sweaters embody the spirit of ruggedness and individuality, whilst bringing them into the contemporary lifestyle.
